I'm a very keen angler and fish for a number of species, including salmon, on my local river, the Mourne. I fish with a double handed rod using the spey casting technique. I also enjoy traditional pike fishing from the banks of lakes and loughs. I also do a bit of sea fishing from the shore and occasionally from charter boats. I enjoy the outdoors and spend a lot of time walking the country side, including the local rivers, hills and coasts. I enjoy photography and especially videography using this media to capture my fishing and walking activities and publish them on Flickr, YouTube, Facebook and other social media websites. When I'm not out and about I work locally as a dedicated Health & Safety Officer at a local engineering company trying to ensure my fellow colleagues work safely.
