I'm a very keen angler and fish for number fish species, including salmon. I primarily fish for salmon on my local river, the Mourne using a double handed rod using the spey casting technique. I also enjoy traditional pike fishing from the banks of lakes and loughs. I also do a bit of sea fishing from the shore and occasionally from charter boats. I enjoy the outdoors and at the weekends spend time walking the country side including the local rivers, hills and coasts. I enjoy photography and especially videography using this media to capture my fishing, walking and other related activities and publish them on Flickr, YouTube, Facebook and other social media websites. I also enjoy gardening, when I'm not out and about I work locally as a dedicated Health & Safety Officer at a local engineering company trying to ensure my fellow colleagues work safely. I nearing retirement age but find I'm not quite ready to hang this up just yet. As can be seen from my photography, I enjoy exploring the local historic landmarks and the genealogy of famous local people.
