February 3, 2025- I just noticed that my total viewership on Flickr has finally surpassed the 7,000,000 mark! I thank all those who have helped Joni and I to achieve this total! . . . Whether or not those numbers are real, or simply algorithmic machinations by Flickr, I don't know. What I do know is that they are misleading and inaccurate. I'm not a numbers whore, but assuming for the moment that Flickr's numbers are factual, Joni got "cheated". As I noted previously back on February 11, 2023 on his thread, I resisted what I felt at the time was an effort by Flickr two years ago to force me (seduce me?) into signing up for a PRO account. At that time, I still had room for posting approximately 100 more photos on my photostream before I reached 1000 photos and the clock struck 12 on poor Joni, at which point, she would have to eliminate old photos before she could add new ones, or become a paying Flickr Pro..

 

Well the day that Joni dreaded, but she knew was inevitable, finally arrived in the fall of 2023 when she ceremoniously counted down her last free posted photos as she approached and hit the 1000 mark. At that time by her recollection, Joni had generated approximately 6.6 or 6.7 million views, a relatively modest, but not insignificant total in the Flickr Universe. It appeared that Joni could expect to blow past the 7 million mark sometime during the next 3 to 4 months at her then current pace if she continued to post her photos on Flickr. After a short period of sulking, Joni once again rebuffed the thought of becoming a Flickr PRO and undertook some temporary measures and deleted about 25 relatively easy photos in total from her photostream to create some room for new photos. But she knew that it was only a matter of time before she would have to do a major purge of her photostream. She envisioned deleting about 300 of her old photos to put off the next purge for a few years at least..

 

Well the Great Purge finally occurred last spring. Knowing that she had taken a lot of photos at the Keystone Conference that she wanted to post and needed room to do so, Joni initiated her Great Purge. Frankly, it was a gut wrenching process. Expecting any self-loving T-Girl to delete photos of herself is a cruel and unusual punishment as we all enjoy the memories that the photos invoke, and we are often proud of those photos, and enjoy the validation that the views and comments by others on those photos provide. Unfortunately, Joni was only able to delete about 100 of the intended 300 photos to delete. . . . As I said, it was gut wrenching. . . . All of which means that there are a large number of photos currently on her photostream that are living on borrowed time, as another purge looms in the not too distant future as Joni has of this date only room for 24 more photos before she maxes out at 1000 again. (It should be noted that her photostream page indicates she has posted 958, wIth room for another 42, but that number is inaccurate. Don't ask me why. Ask Flickr!)

 

Beyond the heartbreak of purging photos, there is Flickr's insult to injury. What I didn't realize when I was conducting those initial temporary deletions, but which became a very real slap in the face when I conducted my Great Purge is that once a photo is deleted from Flickr, not only are the comments lost, BUT SO ARE THE VIEWS! Shortly after the Great Purge, Joni discovered that her total views dropped down to 6.1 million, a level that she had already exceeded by about 500,000 several months earlier in the Fall of 2023. FLICKR DEDUCTED THE VIEWS OF HER DELETED PHOTOS FROM HER TOTAL VIEWS!! As such, Joni estimates she has lost about 800,000 to one million views because of the deletions. In other words, Joni should have 8,000,000 views or close to it on this date, and not merely 7,000,000 views. It also means that when Joni conducts the Great Purge II, she will very likely once again drop well back below her hard-earned 7,000,000 views. Apparently, those with PRO accounts don't have to deal with this kind of issue. They continue to roll up their inflated view numbers uninhibited and then some brag about their numbers every time they hit a milestone . . . It's not fair or accurate! I don't begrudge those with PRO accounts from posting thousands of their photos because they are paying for the privilege to do so, . . . . but really I think they are all a bunch of sluts! . . . Well, maybe not all of them, but most of them! (Just kidding.)

 

January 20, 2025 - It's not just a cold day in most of America, it's a BLACK DAY! Incredibly, trump is being inaugurated as president for the second time. He not only won the electoral vote, but he even won the popular vote this time, which says a lot about the stupidity of Americans. Fool America once, shame on him! Fool America twice, shame on America!! Fortunately, he is currently term limited by the Constitution, so he will become a lame duck and largely irrelevant well before his term of office is over.

 

THE ONE THING THAT ANYONE CAN TAKE TO THE BANK IS THE REALITY THAT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THAT trump TOUCHES, EVENTUALLY TURNS TO SHIT!!!

 

The ominous truth, however, is that elon musk is lurking in the background. Indeed, trump isn't even calling the shots, musk is. musk can never be the president under the current Constitution because unlike Barack Obama, musk is not a U.S. citizen. But he has done the next best thing - he has bought the presidency. By donating $250,000,000.00 to trump's campaign, he was by far the largest contributor to trump's campaign and has bought himself huge influence in the trump administration. trump ran for president primarily to stay out of jail. He has no real policies or vision, other than deportations and tax cuts for himself and other millionaires. On the other hand, musk has his own agenda which is far more global and even counter-American in many regards than trump's impractical but feverish "America First" mantra which of course is nothing more than a rehashed "Deutchland Uber Alles". musk has his tentacles in the governments and economies throughout the world, including China and Russia. musk and trump may agree on many things, but musk didn't donate all of that money, which is a drop in the bucket for him, to sit on the sidelines and be a cheerleader for trump He will tell trump what to do. Do you really think that trump is suddenly concerned about international shipping routes through the Panama Canal and the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans?? He couldn't care less about international commerce. All he wants to do is erect tariffs to preclude it and eliminate foreign competition in America's marketplace. trump is so stupid, he probably couldn't find Greenland on a map until recently. But musk wants Greenland because he believes under the melting glaciers are minerals and resources that will benefit his tech businesses. trump's primary business is buying up golf courses and real estate, and lately selling bibles. All musk had to do to get trump's attention for more than 15 seconds was whisper "China" in his ear. It's going to be like that for the foreseeable future until trump tries to cross musk and musk starts attacking trump over X and other social media and starts spreading his money around by essentially bribing influential MAGA Congressmen to abandon trump and see things from the musk perspective. It's only a matter of time.

  

February 11, 2023 - Joni received notice that she and I had reached the 5,000,000 mark in views on January 31, 2023. This, of course, is a major milestone and very validating for someone who never dreamed she could attract this much attention. Once again, Joni and I wish to thank all those viewers who have made this a reality. . . . However, there is one aspect of this achievement that I find to be a bit sobering and disappointing. I have read elsewhere on various locations on Flickr where many women on Flickr have reported grossly inflated viewership numbers on some of their photos that don't correspond with the small number of comments and Favorites that such seemingly popular photos might normally expect to generate. It is said by many in the know that Flickr uses algorithms, whatever the hell they are, ( I'm a lover, not a mathematician, although I did score a 670 in math on my SAT tests in high school.) I'm told that Flickr uses the algorithms to estimate, rather than to actually count, the number of views on any particular photo. They not only claim the algorithms are faulty, but further allege they are possibly even being intentionally manipulated by the Wizards of Flickr to create more excitement where very little actually exists. The idea seems to be to lure an unsuspecting Flickr gal into upgrading to a pay-for-play PRO account, by tricking her into thinking she needs to post more photos to meet the insatiable demands of an adoring mass of anonymous admirers who don't really exist. Now I don't necessarily subscribe to this conspiracy theory, but I don't discount it out of hand either.

 

All I know is that I am gradually approaching a tipping point in my relationship with Flickr in which I currently have posted over 900 photos on Flickr and only have room for posting less than 100 more before Joni's amateur status expires at the 1000 mark. Meanwhile, the apparent pace of her viewership has quickened noticeably. Joni somehow generated an additional million more views in less than 5 months since last September 13. 2022, after it took Joni and me 8 long years to reach 4,000,000 views. for an average of a million views every two years. Do the math and try to explain the increased momentum in current viewership. Is it really Joni and I, who have become so popular, or is it the Wizards of Flickr trying to lure me into upgrading to a Flickr Pro account? Factor in the fact that I just recently returned from a bogus Flickr suspension for alleged unsafe content on my photostream in which ultimately no photos were removed by the Flickr cops, The suspension was preceded by an increase in advertising prompts by Flickr to upgrade to a pro account where I could post unlimited number of photos regardless of the safety level of the content. I still get those prompts, but not as frequently as I was in the weeks before I was suspended and then reinstated. It makes me wonder . . . . One thing I do know is that when it comes to dealing with corporate entities like Flickr, it always comes down to money!! . . . .

 

So, what's a girl to do? Sooner or later, Joni and I will probably cull through her photostream and remove some of her less flattering photos and remove them to create room for newer photos. It will be a painful process, not unlike throwing away old favorite dresses/skirts that no longer fit, or never fit, from one's wardrobe as sentimentality sets in, but it has to be done. Paying for something that I am used to using for free is not something that appeals to me, so subscribing to a Flickr Pro account is not an option, unless Flickr drastically reduces the cost of such an account to a nominal amount. . . . .MEANWHILE, Joni and I will try to enjoy and savor her 5,000,000 view milestone, as we are mindful of what a famous pro football coach once said: "YOU ARE WHAT YOUR RECORD SAYS YOU ARE!" . . . As such, regardless of any suspicions relating to possible machinations by Flickr, Joni is a member of the 5 MILLION VIEW CLUB!

September 13, 2022 - Reached a new milestone today when I quietly snuck over the 4,000,000 mark in views. That number pales in comparison to the numbers generated by many of the other women on Flickr, Nevertheless, I can recall how excited I was when I generated my first million views. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this milestone achievement!

1/17/2017 - With the inauguration of Donald Trump only days away, please don't blame me for what will follow in the months ahead. I did not vote for him. I am embarrassed for our country. I can foresee nothing good coming from his presidency. Beyond his expressed contempt for the transgendered community, he is totally unfit on so many other more important levels to be in the White House . I can only hope that his term will be brief before he does irreparable damage to the fabric of this nation. Accordingly, please do not leave any pro-Trump comments on any of my photographs as they will not be appreciated and will be removed. While I understand there can be a difference of opinion, please keep your pro-Trump opinions and comments to yourself and off my site. Thank you.

 

6/12/18 - It's been almost a year and a half since I issued my disclaimer about the idiot currently residing in the White House. I made clear at that time that I expected that nothing good would come from his presidency, and I have to admit that he hasn't disappointed. He has been even worse than I ever imagined he could be! I could spend days reciting a litany of the incredibly stupid things he has done and said or tweeted since he has taken office, but one need not look any farther than his recent attacks on the leaders of many of our best and long term allies while sucking up to his long time pal, Putin, and his new BFF forever in North Korea to begin to realize just how dangerous and fucked up this clown is. I'm continually amazed at how many people who voted for him voted against their own economic interests, not to mention the broader national interests. If you are in the upper middle class or lower, his new tax law is going to screw you beginning next year and even more so every year thereafter until it is repealed. Beyond the economic issues, I am even more amazed by how many TG's and gays voted for this dirt bag. What were you thinking and expecting from a guy who had always historically been opposed to the LGBT movement, regardless of his campaign rhetoric outside of appearances in deep Red states. His recent actions regarding TG's in the military as well as his continuing efforts to deny, limit, and reverse gains made over the years by the LGBT community in all walks of life were all predictable. Frankly, if you voted for him, you should be ashamed. Face it, you got conned and played for a fool!!!

11/11/18 - Today is the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice Agreement that ended World War I, the war that was supposed to end all wars. Well, we know how that worked out. . . . Over 100,000 American soldiers died during the "Great War", with thousands more wounded and maimed. Yesterday, there was a special memorial ceremony at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in Belleau, France. Trump and his Third Lady were in France and were scheduled to attend as America's representatives, however they cancelled their trip due to a light rain that somehow prevented their helicopter from taking off. Apparently, the Great Patriot and five time draft-dodger made no effort to find an alternate means of transportation so as to pay his respects to those American soldiers who fought and died in the mud of the trenches during heat, rain, and snow. . . . With political scandals swirling around him on all fronts, one can anticipate that the Commander-in-Chief will be looking at ways to distract attention away from his failures and misdeeds, quite possibly by fabricating some sort of military confrontation that will needlessly place more American servicemen in peril of the lives. It's incredible that this moron still has control of the nuclear codes that could launch World War III at his whim!

 

4/12/19 - If you have read this much of my profile, it is obvious that I detest Trump and everything that he stands for. While I recognize that there is normally room for a difference of opinion in political matters, I have no tolerance for listening to the morons who voted for Trump. If you voted for Trump and you're proud of it and still don't realize you are the victim of a con job by electing the worst president in the history of the USA, that's your problem, but I don't want to know about it, especially on my Flickr page. Accordingly, I have previously requested that no one place pro-Trump comments on my photos. I'm happy to report that I had not received any pro-Trump comments on any of my photos. . . . that is until April 9, 2019. I attended this year's edition of the Keystone Conference and had an enjoyable time. A few days after I returned home I posted a photograph of myself standing in front of the banner for the Keystone Conference, which I labeled as KEYSTONE CONFERENCE #2, which included a short narrative about my experiences at the Conference. Several of my Flickr friends left comments and I responded to express my gratitude, as I normally do.

 

However on April 9, some creep from Columbus, Ohio, who calls himself "denny dickerson", who had obviously read this same profile, ignored my request to not place pro-Trump comments on any of my photos. Specifically, this is what mr. dickerson had to say by way of a comment to my KEYSTONE CONFERENCE #2 photograph: "READY to eat your FUCKING words about Trump, CUNT FACE?" The capitalizations are mr. dickerson's. (At the time of this writing the photo and the comment are still posted for those with inquiring minds.) Overlooking this creep's crude eloquence, I must admit he spells much better than Trump or the vast majority of his supporters, whom Hillary Clinton accurately described as "a basket of deplorables". Of course, the short response to this creep's profane query is "No, mr. DICKHEAD!!!" . . . I don't know this creep, nor do I wish to know him, but I was intrigued enough to find out exactly who this knuckles-scratching-the-ground moron was, so I went to his Flickr page.

 

Not surprisingly, I learned that "denny dickerson" doesn't post any photos of his own on this photo-sharing media, which is probably a blessing, and leads one to suspect that the photo icon on his Flickr page probably isn't even him. Even less surprising, it turns out that denny the dickhead follows over 1,300 women on Flickr, virtually all of them TG's. He is also listed as being a member of 47 TG and Crossdressing groups. How lucky we in the TG community are to have such a devoted Follower! What is surprising about this slime ball is how discerning he is, as he only has 3 pages of Favorites. Sad to say, however, among his Favorites and the 1300 women he follows on Flickr, I noticed that many of my friends and acquaintances on Flickr were included. I can't tell people who they should or should not associate with on Flickr, but if you're a TG woman and don't relish having a relationship with a creep like mr. dickerson, you may want check to see if he is following you, or worse yet, posting photos of you as one of his Favorites. I say this because I speak from experience.

 

Get this! Not only did this scumbag assault my sensitivities with his disgusting and profane comment on my photo, but he made that SAME photo one of his Favorites! Yeah, you're reading that right. This lowlife, who has probably never had a date, let alone a relationship, with any kind of woman, actually downloaded as one of his Favorites the same photo of the woman whom he so despicably addressed as a "CUNT FACE" !!! The thought that this jerkoff is probably using my photo to try to whip his limp dick into a hard on sickens me, but it doesn't surprise me that he is a Trump supporter. All I can say is #Me too!

 

However, if you enjoy perverse irony and Trump-like lies and delusions, I invite you to check out mr. dickerson's profile on his Flickr site. It starts out with this self-description: "Fun, loving guy looking for new friends, honest and respectful

to ALL!!" (Once again, his capitalizations.) Yeah, right! He's almost as credible as his hero. My guess is that mr. fun lover is looking for new friends because he doesn't have any old friends. . . . You'll have to excuse me. I somehow stepped into something that smells and I need to scrape it off the bottom of my boots.

 

The easy thing for me to do would be to simply block him and move on. That will eventually happen one way or the other, but I have filed a complaint with the Flickr cops whom I hope will decide to kick this creep off of Flickr and ban him forever. In the meantime, I have to wait for the outcome of their investigation. There is no doubt in my mind that the vileness of the creep's comment violates the Flickr guidelines and code of conduct, so we'll wait and see.

 

4/12/19 - I checked in with my Flickr page early this afternoon and found a 10:45 a.m. e-mail from "Walter" of the "Flickr Trust and Safety Team". Basically, Walter provided me with information about how to BLOCK someone whom I don't want Following me or Favoriting my photos, as well as providing a "helpful article" for me to click on if I want to REPORT ABUSE, if I believe a user has violated Flickr's terms and conditions. Well, Thanks a lot, Walter, but I already know how to block unsavory individuals with whom I don't want any contact. Indeed, I have blocked 180 such individuals to date, almost all of them for the sexually perverse nature of the content on their sites which typically lack anything of a socially redeemable value, other than close ups of genitals or bodies with no heads or faces, etc. As for REPORTING ABUSE, I thought I made it very clear that is exactly what I was doing when I first contacted the Flickr police, but apparently not. I also noted that denny dickhead's comment had been removed from my photograph in question, which I assume was done by Walter, because I didn't do it. Unfortunately, I discovered that denny dickhead still has a Flickr site, although my photo was also removed from his Favorites, presumably by Walter. However, he's not even BLOCKED right now as I write this. Apparently, Walter is leaving the issue of a BLOCK up to my discretion. All in due time! So, other than deleting the comment from my photo and removing the photo from mr. dickhead's Favorites, Walter and the Flickr police have done very little so far to sanction denny dickhead, beyond what I could have done on my own by simply BLOCKING this creep three days ago. I chose not to do that at the time so as to preserve the evidence to assist the Flickr police in their "investigation". At the end of Walter's e-mail, I am asked to check a 'thumb's up' or 'thumb's down' assessment of Flickr's response to my REPORT OF ABUSE. Considering that I had to wait three days for Flickr to do something that I could have done on my own, specifically remove the comment and block mr. dickhead at the outset, I am checking the 'thumb's down' box. Either the Flickr police are stupid or the guidelines for violating Flickr's terms and conditions are very permissive or non-existent!

 

So, I have no choice but to continue to follow up on my original complaint reporting abuse by denny dickhead and hope that Flickr actually investigates this creep and ultimately enforces their terms and conditions governing conduct on this media. In the meantime, I will hold off on my inevitable blocking of the dickhead, which will allow him to post some more of his wit and wisdom on my site which may favorably impact the Flickr investigation to ultimately ban him from posting not only on my site, but anyone else's.

 

7/29/21 - I haven't added to my profile in a couple of years, but today I noticed that my Flickr page has quietly surpassed the 3,000,000 mark in total views generated. I know there are others on Flickr who have generated many, many more views, but I am profoundly impressed, yet humbled, to have reached this milestone of "3M" views as Flickr reports it. I'll have to do something to commemorate and celebrate the moment on my photostream. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that Joni would become so public with her photos, nor that she would become so popular when I first started posting photos on this site. While there are a lot of things wrong with Flickr, and it is overrun with creeps and weirdos, Joni is thankful for the fun and support that it has provided for her and the many wonderful friends that she has met on this platform. You "'wonderful friends" know who you are and I thank you for your friendship and support.

 

For those who are only casual admirers, your viewership and interest, in following myself and other transgender women on Flickr is also appreciated as it helps to gradually remove the social stigma placed upon the transgender community and helps us not only gain acceptance within society in general, but our ourselves as well. So many of us are very normal guys who spend the vast majority of our lives living as regular guys who are your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family and relatives, but must conceal and protect our secret completely or reveal it as discreetly as possible. I am certainly one of those guys.

 

It seems to me that every individual is a unique mixture of X and Y chromosomes. As such, all of us have both male and female traits in our DNA, which ultimately shapes our personalities and beings. I believe that inside every man there is a also a female presence or voice, to a greater or lesser extent. That female presence can be very pronounced and apparent, or totally buried and supressed in one's subconscious as it was in my life for so many years, but it's there. What makes a transgender woman like myself different from the rest of the male population is the ability to not only hear that female voice, but to bring it to life. Some transgender women are further blessed with the ability to not only hear that female voice and dress up en femme as an expression of that female voice, but be visible while doing so, whether it be through photographs or being out in public, or both. I happen to be one of those who are blessed with that ability. It is an ability that I want to share with others and hopefully they will come to appreciate and understand it and myself, and not fear or hate me, or others like me, out of ignorance. Ultimately, I want to present myself in a manner that humanizes the transgender community as a whole and perhaps encourage, if not inspire, others to hear and act on their own female voice and similarly give expression to it by bringing it to life, hopefully without the fear of rejection.
