Photography has been my main hobby and interest for forty years. I live on the outskirts of Sheffield, South Yorkshire and therefore am on the edge of the Peak District. I enjoy many aspects of photography but my main interest is landscape and seascape. I do like to vary the subjects I photograph which is probably evident in my offerings on flickr. Apart from taking images, I do enjoy purchasing equipment as part of the whole photography ' thing'. I just love using and handling various cameras and lenses which has amounted to quite a lot of "gear". Last count was nineteen cameras, twenty seven lenses, three tripods, etc etc There are certain cameras and lenses I would never part with. I have a great attachment to them and they have served me well over the years. Well, I look forward to submitting my next offering on flickr. I just want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you who shows an interest in my photostream images. It does mean a lot to me knowing that my images are appreciated so, thankyou very much.
