Photography has been my main hobby and interest for forty years. I live on the outskirts of Sheffield, South Yorkshire and therefore am on the edge of the Peak District. I enjoy many aspects of photography but my main interest is landscape and seascape. I do like to vary the subjects I photograph which is probably evident in my offerings on flickr. Apart from taking images, I do enjoy purchasing equipment as part of the whole photography ' thing'. I have an array of Nikon DSLR's and Fuji mirrorless cameras. I just love using and handling various cameras and lenses which has amounted to quite a lot of "gear". There are certain cameras and lenses I would never part with. The Fuji cameras and lenses are top notch along with the ability to use classic lenses of other manufacturers from the past on the camera with the use of adapters. Well, I look forward to submitting my next offering on flickr. I just want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you who shows an interest in my photostream images both home and abroad. It is quite incredible to think that people throughout the world can view my images. It does mean a lot to me knowing that my efforts are appreciated so, thankyou very much to everyone.
