How dare you?! / Westminster palace / London / eXplore #9
Check it out on black or at 1280 x 800 pixel if you like.
Update
Explore #9 (FWIW) that's what you get with the old cliches! ;-)
Btw, I delete comments with *huge* banners and reference to people's own pix. So now you know. Ta! :-)
About this shot
I was deffo in two minds about uploading (one of) the ultimate cliche shot(s) of Westminster Bridge and The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament or Westminster Palace (whatever) you know - hehe. *blush* But I walked past the London Eye and couldn't help myself looking back over my left shoulder... I had to take the shot anyway! It was a perfect job for my Nikon 50mm f/1.4 from that angle, and oh boy that piece of glass is *SO* sharp it scares me (see 100% crop below).
Hope you like it - at least the sharpness of it all - althought it's been done to death a thousand times. I'll come up with some more original shots soon enough! ... oh wait, I've got a couple of other cliches waiting down the line as well, hehe. I'll try and make it an interesting mixture then! ;-)
See ya!

Exposure 20 sec.
Aperture f/16.0
Focal Length 50 mm (Nikon 50mm f/1.4)
ISO Speed 200

Single RAW shot, tweaked in Photoshop CS5. Wait, before I forget, for the (at 20 seconds wa-hay over exposed) Big Ben clock I took another short exposure shot and glued it into this shot, to be perfectly honest. :-)
