Daurian Starling, Agropsar sturninus, Purple-backed Starling, Perling Belakang Ungu
The Purple-backed Starling is a very common winter visitor and passage migrant to Southeast Asia, meaning that it is most abundant and most easily spotted during the start of the migratory season (September to early October) and the late migratory season (around late February to March). They are highly social birds that move around in large flocks and can sometimes form huge masses of flying birds, foraging on fruits with lots of noises.
