8 chalice pax

The Chalice is a common shared cup in Christianity, but it originated from the Blessing or Kiddush Cup from Jewish tradition. PAX, peace in Latinm, was painted in black slip. Celadon glaze and blue glaze were applied to the top and bottom respectively. The blue glaze applied to all pieces from this kiln turned a creamy dusty gray instead of blue.
