Cooper's hawk on the left and a Red-tailed hawk on the right. The Red-tailed hawk hit a thermal and began to climb. The Cooper's hawk is a local resident that wanted to make sure the Red-tailed hawk didn't stick around. As soon as the Red-tail left the Cooper's hawk went back to his observation tree.
