Ode to Light
My long exposure attempt at Faro di Punta Carena on the Island of Capri in Italy. I have uploaded a similar frame a few weeks ago (Sunset at Faro di Punta Carena) and many friends were wondering if I didn’t try a long-exposure shot. Well here it is!
A quite challenging shot as the sun was almost fully set and the lights of the lighthouse just turned on. Some further technical details for those interested: this is a single RAW shot of 181 seconds, taken with Nikon D750 and Nikon 14-24 f/2.8 at 20 mm, f/11 and ISO 100. The very long exposure was possible with the use of the Lee ND 10-stop filter (big stopper) attached on the SW-150 system. The image was first imported to LR for basic editing and then to PS for a few more adjustments.
