Four Shadows

Walking down the

Sunset Strip on a sunny

Monday in West Hollywood,

I noticed the array of

interesting shadows on

the walls of hotels and

apartment buildings -

and as dozens of

paparazzi lined up on the hill

overlooking the old

Chateau Marmont hotel

where belushi died years ago

and U2 is about to emerge today-

I walked beyond that

assembly to photograph

these poems written

by the sun.
