I met him on the Venice Boardwalk

on Venice Beach on a hot Saturday in July. At

Venice with Joshua, my son, we stopped to listen to

Abraham, who was playing conga and other

percussion instruments, jam on some classic

reggae tunes with a gifted group

of soulful friends.
