I met her at the Cannibal Flower

art show and music extravaganza

in downtown L.A. on a sabado noche.

 

Though no one else was dancing, she

started to dance, and she was a sexy,

marvelous dancer, and I watched her

and took some photos of her. She was

swinging really gracefully and I was kind of

amazed by the way she encompassed the

whole vast space of this downtown loft with

her dance. Other people were watching her, too,

but she was free and happy. She took a break,

and asked me if I knew were the bathroom was.

I pointed it out, but the way was full of people,

and she couldn't see, so I happily volunteered to

walk her there, which delighted her. "You are such

a gentleman," she said, something nobody has

ever said to me, or if they have, it was a very long

time ago.
