She was slightly embarrassed
by my request to take her
picture, but agreed. Noticing the adorable photo of my son prominently featured in my wallet, she asked me about him, and though he's only six, asked, "Man.. or Woman?" I said he was a little boy.
When
asked her for her name,
she said what sounded like
'Raut.' "Raut," I asked?
No, "Roth," she corrected,
pointing to the name on
a bottle of liquor on
the shelf behind her, as she
and her sister giggled.
