Jackson's Eye
This is the right eye of Andrew Jackson on the $20 Bill (USD). The setup is a Nikkor 200mm f/4 on the camera connected to a 50mm f/1.2 (inverted) using a male-to-male filter ring.
I did this as a handheld proof-of-concept sort of test of the rig using only sunlight for illumination. I purposely shot at a 45-degree angle with the sun at the opposing 45-degree angle to show the texture created of the intaglio printing process.
According to the math of a friend, this is a 4:1 macro.
200mm f/4 @ 32 + 50mm f/1.2 @ f/1.4
