Sometimes people want to have something special in their album and are ready to pay extra for that - all it takes is just to suggest. Of course you have to be prepared: few tricks - and not only in two dimensions - are going to be useful. Photoshop and Illustrator have some 3d capabilities, but I prefer using genuine 3d graphics software, as it offers a lot more, particularly when working with materials and lighting.
