Volcan Ollagüe
For those of you too lazy to climb up a mountain, a drive up the Cerro Aucanquilcha mine road is the easiest way to reach 6000m altitude above sea level with a little help from your Toyota Hilux sherpa.
This is the vista from the road across a salt pan towards the Volcan Ollagüe on the Chilean-Bolivian border.
And yes, there have been traces of mountain bikes.
