Softly it falls in snowy forests
Got my first snowy hike on the mountain in yesterday. All the rain down here in the city had me guessing it would be snowy at higher elevations so made the drive up to Government Camp to go crunch through some snowy woods. I didn't do anything too extreme, just the jaunt down to Trillium Lake and back. I was curious to see if the lake was frozen over yet. It has a layer of slush across it but definitely not quite frozen. Not many photos got made but it was still lovely to get out for a bit in a quiet, snowy forest. Hoping next weekend will be Mt. Hood, Part 2.
