The remnants of some long past violent encounter between outlaw Posties I am sure. Rumors have it that several innocent mail drop boxes were killed in the encounter.
Taken some years ago with my Nikon FM2 and a homemade Lensbaby-like creation. I use the 90mm lens off of my Pentax 67 and attach it to my Nikon by an ugly, but effective, bellows made out of gaffers tape and aluminum foil. Which reminds me, it has been well over a year or two since I last brought this contraption out into the light of day. Maybe it is time to dust it off.
Anyway, I have been posting a lot of landscape images lately, in no small part because it is mostly what I have been shooting. But even I get tired of looking at just landscapes. I enjoy a variety in my stream so I put this up as a bit of a change of pace. Just another odd little scene I found one day walking around downtown Portland.
