Join chef Alain Allegretti for a taste of spring in Provence as the top toque creates a fantastic four-course menu of his sophisticated cuisine. Highlighting the flavors of southern France in his cozy Flatiron spot, the chef will feature his favorite menu items from his fresh spring menu starting with a sampling of marinated baby artichokes, pissaladière, vegetable beignet, radish with tapenade, vegetable "farçi" and brandade niçoise all grouped together into the aptly named “Taste of Nice.” The menu continues with a risotto with goat cheese, Meyer lemon and spring fava beans followed by branzino with bergamot orange flavors and stuffed fennel confit. For a sweet finish, expect an indulgent warm clafoutis with rhubarb and dark chocolate. The highlight of the night, meanwhile, will be the wine pairings chosen by the owners of Blue Coast Wine Importers – the only true Provence-based wine importers.
