Mini Cartonnage Drawers

As the Japanese have origami, the French have Cartonnage. The art of making boxes etc from grey board which is then covered in paper of fabric. Surprisingly this is only really popular in France and Japan and there is very little info available in English.

 

This is my first attempt at cartonnage. The fabric used is by Alexander Henry and is called Hot Dot in brown.
