Remmy's First Fire
We built our first fire a couple of weeks ago, and of course it was Remington's first fire ever (candles don't count). He was extremely fascinated by it, as you can imagine. Hubby took the screen away because Rem kept looking as if he was going to jump over it. Rem crept close, but of course the heat kept him from harm. (Of course, Hubby and I were also hovering right nearby - that's the shadow from his shoe you see there.)
The little pops and sparks kept his attention all night long. It was so adorable!
Ever since (we need to buy more firewood), he sometimes sits in front of the fireplace and looks in, waiting for that mysterious thing to return.
