Disruptive Students: Always Early, Never Late
Presenter - Ken Croft, Lee County (AR) School District
Learn research-based, easy-to-use classroom management strategies that help teachers reduce low-level classroom disruptions and in turn add a considerable amount of instructional time (generally 5 to 9 hours per week) previously lost dealing with discipline issues. Teachers using these strategies are able to focus on the art of teaching, and using the innovative technology of the eMINTS model, without wasting time constantly dealing with those low-level discipline issues that just drive them crazy!
Ken Croft has taught for 31 years at elementary through university levels, primarily as a middle level educator in Memphis. He spent three years as a Research Fellow in music and education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He currently teaches music in Marianna, Arkansas. Ken’s lively, fun and inspiring presentations on gaining instructional time through effective classroom management have been highly acclaimed by teachers at regional and national conferences.
