Snow Geese deciding to vacate the field, very quickly, around 1:00 p.m.. As happened at 9:30 a.m. when they vacated the water, it was an eagle (see comments for indifferent photo). I was a lot closer to them this time than when they were on the water, and with the sun instead of fog, it's an entirely different scene. I did get a photo of the eagle this time, not a great one but it does provide an image. This is a first year bird from its coloring. Like at 9:30, it did not seem to capture anything on that pass. (That bird was lighter underneath so probably 2nd or 3rd year bird). Of course, in both cases, the eagle might just have wanted to "make them go."
