The Tête d'Aval towering above L'Argentière-la-Bessée

The clocktower known as the Horloge des Hermes in L'Argentière-la-Bessée was completed in 1922 to allow local factory workers to accurately tell the time. It makes for a beautiful landmark against a mountainous backdrop of the Écrins National Park.
