“Environmental awareness project” at Orphanschool-Bagoaims was held on December 4 to help kids and youths explore environmental issues and encourage them to makeimpactfulcontributions to societyin combatting climate change.This will be a one-day event, full of edutainment activitiesmainly targeted for kids and young adults. Through interactive lessons, stories, songs and games, targeted participants will beeducated on the terms, concept and background of climate change.By the end of the training, it is expected to encourage behaviorchange among project beneficiaries inprotectingour Planetthrough small, yetimpactfulindividual commitments.The project Goals are (1) To raise communal awarenessabout the most urgent and prominent global issue, which is, climate change (2) To helpyouths and kids build up competencies needed to cope with climatechange (3) To highlight the role of youthsand kidsin saving our planet and its people
