Fort Griffin Under The Night Sky

This is a test shot of my new Sigma 14mm f/1.8, stitched with 16 vertical compositions of 14mm. Fort Griffin is the only dark sky within 3 hours of driving distance of Dallas-Fort Worth. It is now a Texas State Historic Site, was a US Cavalry fort established 31 July 1867 by four companies of the Sixth Cavalry, U.S. Army under the command of Lt. Col. S.D. Sturgis
