This photo appears to be a classic 1970s/1980s West Berlin modernist/postmodernist transition block.
In fact, it's just round the corner from the vast Hohenschonhausen Stasi site, including their technical facilities, a data centre, and of course the central remand prison and interrogation facility. We were told that many of the staff still live in the area (including the prison governor) and that the guards on the door are there to keep the former guards out, as they bother the ex-inmates who run the memorial committee.
The business in this building is a private security company. Its slogan, visible on the van, is "Sicherheitstechnik: Profis in Aktion" - "Security Technologies - Professionals in Action". Indeed.
