Late Afternoon Royal Scot (2)
Ex LMS Royal Scot Class 7P no 46100 Royal Scot passing through Platform 3 at Church Fenton station heading 1Z45, the 16:01 York to Wolverhampton.
The 4-6-0 was in charge of The White Rose, run by Locomotive Services on behalf of Saphos Trains.
Class 47 47853 was at the rear of the train.
Class 90 90002 would take over at Crewe for the onward trip to Wolverhampton.
The light had thoroughly collapsed at this point, although partially mitigated by most of the station lights being activated. The wind was quite strong too as can be seen.
This was my last shot with my Nikon camera.
