From Taipei Station to Taipei Station via Qing Tian Gang 擎天崗, Ba Yan八煙, Jin
Shan金山, Jilong/Keelung/Kilong基隆 (the French Cemetery 法國公墓), night bus near the station of Keelung, 11pm. Arrived at 23h35. Departed around 16h, reaching YMS before 17h . D_trop'June 2007 (= Edited at 2h07pm, June, 24th.
25/06/'07, 12h25 am. I am just coming back from Taipei, Danshui. I ve shown this serie of a one day trip to a friend who can only see there much too common views of her own surrondings. So, here I start my little story... This is the first shot, a landmark. The subject of this photo is none of those amusing topics, like "wrong signs", " weird logos", that punctuate every "voyeur"like touristic trip. In fact it's nothing else than a tea house who is supposed to be advertised there. I didn't stop there, actually at none of the places indicated as "^ UP ^" , on the way to one of my favorite trail. This is uninterstingness, blur﹠ unfocused. Of course there are those kettles hanging on a tree, but it's nothing but too banal in Taiwan. This is trail art, maybe. I am marking my first picture on that trip. I might return there or not. Easily recognizable even on a foggy day which is likely to be the case 1 time out of three on Yang Ming Shan.
The time is 17h08 ( the indications on "More proporties" like the Date & Time are acurate ), on saturday after a rainy afternoon. The skies seemed to clear slightly and slowly but surely... ( not sure at that time of course) Full stop.
When I edited this, this shot had been seen by one person excluding me, no idea by whom on flickr, not the friend mentioned above. We didn't have a chance to go on the net. Why is it important to show your views that have limited interestingness to your close friends? Is it to make yourself sure that is not any hidden layer of interpretation. Of course everyone thinks he can have his own... Let's see!
So we are on the northern tip of the island of Taiwan. The weather was so dull that I decided to leave the main city there, Taipei, mainly because I had planned to do a hike there with a local friend who from my opinion must seldom be hanging around in the wilderness. The outing was cancel, I found myself disrupted in my plans. Still I went on for it... Here is the story. The never ending trail.
The sign on the pole is indicating the street or road name as many places, I should say, most in Taiwan this one is green with white characters on it, both in chinese and tong-yu pin yin or.., depending. The white sign by the pole also advertises farm chicken raised in opened-space.
I am looking for the transcription of the characters on the teapot- logo, above 泡茶 and next on the right below. Thanks in advance (I have posted this pict to Chinese Writing group)(= 1:09 am

Additional note on the 27th, June, '07: I' ve found the missing character on the sign.. "yu", but it's only because I've returned to that place yesterday. Still it's not on my computer... Later! ( 7x, 28th, June ;)
In fact it is only available as "You"(pin yin), you yong (swim) de you... It might be pronounced Yu some other time as I think I have seen it on a sign the second time I passed there and noticed this board. you 2: 游. 游園, 園 as in garden, yuan 2. I cannot translate that further than this."
As for the rest of the board: 土雞 /Eartn Chicken
泡茶TeaTasting (literally, to pour boiling water?) ;

Especially for... (as I don't get everything/ crystal咪
