Patches

Patches is an Australian Shepherd that greets most visitors to the hostel and country store at Neel Gap, which is part of Blood Mountain, the highest peak on the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail and the sixth-tallest mountain in Georgia. We enjoyed a nice picnic lunch behind the store, before hiking to the top of Blood Mountain, and Patches kept us company, happy to clean up any food that didn't hit our mouths.
