Les Lébous, traditionnellement peuple de pêcheurs, habitaient déjà au Cap Vert bien avant l'arrivée des colons. Beaucoup d'entre eux sont propriétaires fonciers, ils sont ainsi épargnés des loyers élevés de Dakar. Je buvais le 3e thé avec l'oncle pendant qu'il m'expliquait les difficultés d'obtenir régulièrement du travail sur les docks quand les enfants sont sortis par curiosité.
Lébous, traditionally people of fishermen, already lived in the Cap Vert well before in the arrival of the colonists. Many of them are property owners, they are so spared high rents of Dakar. I was drinking the third tea with the uncle while he explained to me the difficulties to find regularly a job on the docks when children came outside with a lot of curiosity.
