MOF Engine 4 and Engine 5

NASA Ames Research Center Fire Department serves a dual role on the former Moffett Field Naval Air Station. They provide structure and fire prevention programs for the various buildings that make up the facility, and they provide Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Services for the airfield which is still active. The Station is constructed with two sets of apparatus bays, one facing the runways with a half dozen apparatus bays, the other with three bays facing the street.

The Street facing bays house Fire Engines 4 and 5, and Ladder Truck 6. The air side bays house ARFF Engines 7, 8, 9 and 10, and some other equipment.
