Nucleo gioca sulla presunzione di voler progettare il futuro dei suoi oggetti rendendoli fossili di loro stessi. Come avviene nelle tracce fossili in cui si ritrova l’impronta dell’elemento che era stato, allo stesso modo nel processo di realizzazione di RESINITE il calco sopravvive all’originale.
Prima opera della ricerca Black Resin “Fossil Coffee Table”‚ è realizzato a mano in vetroresina e pigmento, un tavolino costituito da un unico blocco cavo che ricalca con precisione l’oggetto da cui prende forma.

Nucleo è un collettivo di tre artisti diretto da Piergiorgio Robino, creato nel 1997 a Torino, Italia. Nucleo è un team interdisciplinare attivo nel campo dell’arte contemporanea, design ed architettura.
Le opere di Nucleo, capaci di trovare un contatto tra arte e design, sono esposte in tutto il mondo, dal MoMa di New York al Beaubourg di Parigi alla Triennale Design Museum di Milano.
Nucleo è sinonimo di ricerca, innovazione, introspezione, continuamente ispirato alla realtà contemporanea liberamente e, a volte con ironia.

Nucleo plays on the presumption to design the future of its objects making them fossils of themselves. As with the trace fossils where we find the imprint of the original item, in the same way the implementation process that creates the object leads to the destruction of its original.
The first object of the Black Resinite collection is “Fossil Coffee Table”, handmade using fiberglass and pigment, the table consists of a single empty block that accurately traces the object from which it takes shape.
