Sneak inside the mind of one of Long Island’s most versatile and subliminal artists. With “Phancy Oil”, FRESH artist Ben Owens displays his abilities not only as a prolific graphic designer, but as an astute painter and conceptual artist. With an acute sense of humor and a serious understanding of classical painting technique, Mr. Owens stretches the bounds by making spoof graphic works while juxtaposing them next to more seriously painted works.
The exhibition will include over 50 pieces inspired by the mysterious worlds of vintage labels and posters, medicine, poison, snake oil, hot rod’s, midget wrestling and more. There will also be several new paintings & skullptures for your viewing pleasure.
There will be Posters, Tees, Stickers, Limited Edition Prints as well as original works for sale.
