Arch 5/A/361
Guess this was a private shop as there was no name.. seems like there were lots of motors inside.. With that Jaguar sitting there under the railway arches it has the feel it was being readied for its next "job".. but probably not really the choice of car for a job in the 90s..?
Apparently that motor is still on the road.. per .gov.uk:
it is currently taxed Jan/2019. Registered in 1968 with 3442cc of power under the missing bonnet. Blue VMD531G. Looks like a red 1960s Triumph Herald convertible behind..
Looking further seems the Jag is now part of a huge motor collection in Herts and probably looking slightly more complete than above:
www.studio434.co.uk/my-product/jaguar-340-mk-ii-1968/
Its a Jaguar 340 Mk II.
The brackets above hold the platform for Limehouse station, East London.
Seems little has changed at this location:
...looks like same doors 29 years later, just closed doors.
