It was a very hot August noon, outside the old city of Jerusalem.

Thousands of people were getting out of the narrow lanes,

after the Ramadan prayer ended,

rushing home, to have a meal that would end another day of feast.

 

She was standing on a traffic island,

talking on her phone, very emotionally.
