I think this is how Israel wants to think of itself: Armed but smiling on its borders.

I am doubt if the rest of the world also sees it this way…

 

Actually, I don't think I like this photo so much;

I am doubt if I would leave it here for long.

 

Sometimes, when I walk the lanes of the old city of Jerusalem,

and see the tourists that are taking selfies with the soldiers,

I wonder if the soldiers are sent to the lanes by the ministry of defense,

or by the ministry of tourism…
