scrappy tree mug rug

This one will be staying with me - probably as a cell phone landing pad. The embroidered parts are un-dyed and dyed bits of yarn. They were done before putting the sandwich together and I had a hard time figuring out how to quilt it so I didn't run right through the embroidery. I hope it's not too simple and you like it, partner - cause the real thing will probably be kind of similar!
