紫薯泥 (Purple Sweet Potato Mash)

Lunch @ '老转村川菜馆', the Sichuan cuisine restaurant arm of the Hotel I was staying at.

 

Sweet potato mash are naturally sweet but flavoured with osmanthus marinated sugar syrup, they became absolutely addictive. The rich purple colour screamed 'eat me!" and I did not hesitate.
