韩风牛骨汤 (Korean Beef Ribs Soup)

Lunch @ A Korean Eatery (I have forgotten to note the name of the restaurant down) in "Hong Kong Gardens" area of Qingdao.

 

Very tallowy in aroma and taste; there is no room for mistaken identity. Korean soups tend to be quite light on taste but thick on mouthfeel. So the fact that the tallowy note and taste is dominant deviates a tad away from the usual practice that Korean soups are prepared. I did not find it unpleasant; I just did not think of it as very pleasant either.
