青岛老酸奶 (Qingdao Yoghurt)

The old-school local yoghurt given a modern facelift and re-launched.

 

Qingdao yoghurt has a tofu-jelly like texture - think of it as gelantised yoghurt, which is likely to be the case.

 

It is quite rich - creamy and milky. Not the typical goob-like style of yoghurt one is used to in the West. It is also sweetened, so it has a more dessert feel to it.
