元宝蟹/馒头蟹 (Box Crabs) [Calappa philargius]

A stroll through "Pi Cai Street" (劈柴街), a local food street in Qingdao.

 

Nope, I did not try this crustacean. Took a photo because I have never seen them before. Information gathered from the Internet advises that while looking pretty, these crabs contain very little flesh and roe. They are usually prepared steamed.
