海胆蒸蛋 (Steamed Egg In Sea Urchins)

A stroll through "Pi Cai Street" (劈柴街), a local food street in Qingdao.

 

Japanese "Chawanmushi" given a street food spin - beaten eggs steamed inside sea urchin shells. Did not really go out of my way to try it. I love sea urchins and the best ones I ever had was the orgasmic feast off the coast of Iceland.
