海肠 (Fat Innkeeper Worm Or Penis Fish) [Urechis unicinctus]

A local seafood specialty in this part of the World. One can always walk past aquariums or seafood restaurants and stumble upon these pinkish squashy looking things.

 

This creature is also found in neighbouring northern coastal Chinese provinces as well as in South Korea. They are commonly consumed sliced raw or tossed into some sort of salad.

 

Sadly, I never did get the chance to try them. I would have if I have found it on the menus.
