Nepalese Mutton Barbecue (Mutton Sekuwa)

Nope, not a teeny weeny smidgen of Chinese in this - this is in fact, a Nepalese meal in Shanghai @ "The Nepali Kitchen".

 

Nuggets of barbecued mutton, heavily spiced up by ginger as the main spice. The nuggets were very fragrant but they were a tad dry and tough as well. Surprisingly, despite the meat being mutton, there was no overpowering animalic notes or taste; almost reminded me of aged beef, rather than mutton.
