跳水美蛙 (Spicy Frog Legs)

Dinner @ '蜀江村' for Zigong [自贡] 盐帮菜, a sub-vein in the Chuan vein [川] of Chinese cuisines.

 

Another 'chicken taste' wannabe - frog legs. They are cooked in a spicy broth, made probably with chillies, ginger, spices, garlic etc. Very tasty, very addictive. Utterly moreish. I love the tender pieces of fresh frog legs.

 

The few of us were still trawling the big bowl long after the last piece of frog legs had been consumed in the hope of digging up any morsels.
