青菜钵 (Vegetable Thick Soup)

Dinner @ '蜀江村' for Zigong [自贡] 盐帮菜, a sub-vein in the Chuan vein [川] of Chinese cuisines.

 

Diced local vegetables, first quickly stir-fried and then made into a soup with stock and thickened with cornstarch.

 

A simple family dish, given a restaurant gloss-over.
