野菜煎饼 (Wild Vegetable Pancakes)

Lunch @ '兴熙北' in Chengdu, near the Spice Wholesale Market.

 

The only starch of the day. Wild vegetables were macerated and then fried into pancakes. These were alright - slightly crispy on the outside and a little tender in the middle. Perhaps garlic or onion was added - the pancakes had a mild alliaceous finish.
