Steamed Pork Dumplings With Truffles (松露小籠包/松露小笼包)

Dinner @ the famous "鼎泰豐" of Taiwan.

 

The restaurant is famous for these "Xiao Long Baos" and this is the creme de la creme - the version with truffles. The flavour is very aromatic and tasted awfully creamy and earthy, but if I am to pick hairs, I did find the rich filling a tad dry - I would have love it if they were a tad more juicy and succulent for the price I have to pay for them.
